Chapter 801 Demon Fight: 2 On 2

The stream of water pushed Agatha far away from her teammates. The Merfolk landed on the ground and summoned his trident. Agatha smiled. It had been awhile since anyone shown any sort of resistance that wasn\'t blockhead human stupid.

"Someone who\'s going to fight… and scream properly!" Agatha smiled. "I\'ll take these odds." Agatha readied her fists as a burst of wind flew inwards. She threw her hands up while Calis turned and watched Evan come flying in. Calis pulled the water  over to Evan, watching him plunge into the bubble of water.

"Evan!\' Calis pulled the water bubble over and plopped him out of it. "Are you alright?"Evan coughed as he pushed his hair out of the way.

"Fine…" Evan coughed. He stood up and ignored Calis who pulled the water off him and turned to look at the scale-skinned woman named Agatha. "That bat woman knocked me all the way over here… She hits hard."

"What about the others?" Calis asked, turning back to face Agatha. She grinned at them as she pounded her fists together. She was waiting for them to finish their conversations instead of getting an advantage.

\'Probably getting split up like I did.\' Evan answered telepathically. Evan pushed his right hand out to the side and narrowed his eyes. A prismatic light glimmered around his right hand and climbed to his wrist. A large prismatic shield grew.

Calis twirled the trident and dashed forward. Agatha smiled and rushed forward, large bone and scale gloves appearing over her hands. Agatha and Calis flew at each other, throwing their weapons forward. The two pushed against each other, forcing each other back and thrusting forward in a multitude of strikes.

Evan threw his shield up, guarding the amount of wind and energy coming off Agatha and Calis.

\'I need to figure out a way in… Oh, I know!\' Evan lowered his shield hand and pulled the energy into his hand. He threw his hand forward, releasing a beam of prismatic energy. It hit the earth and exploded in a brilliant ray of light. The ground shook, slowing Agatha and boosting Calis. Calis slid backwards, twirling the trident. He dashed forward and stabbed the trident forward, stabbing the trident into Agatha\'s chest.

Agatha pulled back, watching as the prongs of the trident tore at her. Red blood gushed, quickly closing. She looked at Evan and growled. Agatha\'s scales rippled as she pounded her fists together. Red and purple energy billowed out of Agatha, pushing the slow effect away.

Agatha rushed forward, moving quicker than Calis could react and raised a fist straight for Evan. She swung, thinking the human wouldn\'t even be able to catch it. The fist connected with Evan\'s face, pushing him away. Evan went flying into the wall, cracking the earth around him as Agatha turned and moved straight for Calis.

"Scale Dragon Raging Fist!" Agatha\'s fist lit up in brimstone and fire as she swung it straight for Calis\'s face.

"Shifting Waters!" Calis shouted. Darkness and water flew around him as the fist collided. The fiery fist connected, sending Calis flying as the Cup was left behind in its bubble. Agatha looked at the Cup before running straight for Calis.

Evan pushed himself out of the earth, deflecting the rocks as they fell. He huffed as the kinetic energy swirled around him. Lightning sparked and Evan sprinted for Agatha. The speed picked up, growing as tendrils of lightning. Evan slid to a stop, forcing all of the energy to go into his fist as he punched Agatha.

"Density Blow!" Evan landed a blow straight on one of the energy points he was taught. He pushed his energy into the point and watched Agatha\'s body lock up. Agatha stumbled forward, not able to catch herself as the flames extinguished in her hands. Calis thrusted his hand forward, grabbing Agatha\'s face and covering it in darkness and water.

"Drown!" Calis shouted in Merfolk. Water and darkness pushed their way through every opening on Agatha\'s head. Calis grunted as the smell of something foreign entered the space. "Evan, someone—"

POOSH!

A sonic rush of energy flew outwards, hitting Agatha and the group. The three slammed into each other, shaking as a loud ring grew. Silva flicked the switch and pulled the trigger of her assault rifle. She watched it fire out, hitting Evan and Calis.

Silva shouted something in a foreign language Calis and Evan couldn\'t understand. Agatha\'s body lit up and disappeared, reappearing next to Silva. Silva continued her spray of shots. Evan grunted and summoned a large prismatic shield. He gasped for air as blood trickled down his body.

"A Sniper." Evan gasped. "This isn\'t good… Are you okay?" Evan looked over at Calis, who was pulling himself out of the wall. He nodded as the blood oozed.

"I think she hit one of my energy points. Argh…!" Calis groaned. He clutched his arm. He poured some energy into it and sighed. Silva had shot one of his energy points and now his left arm was useless. Evan could feel a couple points on his leg, back and right arm were numb.

Evan pushed energy through it and grunted in pain. The Sniper knew what points to shoot. Energy bullets bounced on the shield. Silva turned and stopped shooting.

"Get up. I didn\'t harm any of your spots. Act now before its too late. Where\'s the item?" Silva asked Agatha. Agatha raised her hand and pointed at a bubble of water with light.

"There…" Agatha grunted. She cracked her back, letting out a painful grunt. "That human… hit a vital point… He paralyzed me… I can\'t move for a bit…" Silva sighed and released the assault rifle. She replaced it with a pistol and a dagger.

"Fine. I\'ll secure it and we\'ll go back to help Captain Baro. I don\'t want him to fight those Fox Spirits alone." Silva ran for the Cup. It glimmered with energy that could keep them from ever hurting. She plunged her hand into the water and pulled the Cup out. It was an ornate cup with jewels on the rim.

Energy poured into Silva. She felt perfectly fine before, but the Cup… It had a strange effect she didn\'t understand. She knew the waters could heal them and turned to pour some of its ever flowing water onto her ally.

"The Cup…" Calis grunted. He pushed forward with some help from his trident. "We have to get the Cup…"

"Where is it?" Evan asked. He turned and looked through the prismatic wall. It grew transparent revealing Silva with the Cup. "There it is… Great. What do we do?"

"I\'ll distract, you get the Cup… You\'re quicker than I am…" Calis grunted. Evan nodded and Calis stuck a finger out.

1. 2. 3! The wall flew down and the prismatic kinetic energy surrounded Evan. Evan sprinted forward as Calis lifted his right arm up.

"O Goddess… I\'m in time of need… Help us recover your Cup… Wrathful Sea." Water bubbles and dark bubbles grew from Calis\'s hand. It started out as a quiet rumbling and quickly grew loud. Black and blue waters flew out of Calis\'s hand, slamming onto the ground, filling the space as it rushed straight for Silva and Agatha.

"Silva…!" Agatha grunted. "W-watch out!" Agatha forced herself up. Before she knew it, she was grabbing Silva and pulling Silva to safety. She shielded the gunner with the Cup as Evan appeared right beside them, grabbing the Cup and releasing a blast of kinetic energy at them.

"Bye!" Evan waved before disappearing with the Cup.

\'Wall us off!\' Calis ordered. The black and blue waters slammed onto Agatha, pushing the Demons forward as Evan touched the walls. A large prismatic wall barrier flew out of the side, letting some of the black and blue water out as it closed. He slid to a stop and listened as water slammed against the barrier.

"Holy shit…" Evan muttered.

\'Protect the Cup at all costs!\' Calis shouted. \'I can handle these Demons! This is my territory now!\'

"Shadow Fin." Calis spoke. His form shifted, replacing his human legs and feet with his large Merfolk tail. The scales grew black as the trident melted into the waters. Black sharp blades grew out of Calis\'s arms. He swam forward in a blur, plunging the blade straight into the spot Evan had hit.

Agatha grunted, releasing air out of her lips. In a last ditch effort, Agatha lit herself on fire, burning everything around her. Silva winced as she kicked Agatha away. She pulled the pistol up and pointed it at Agatha. She pulled the trigger and watched as Agatha\'s eyes widened. Agatha\'s body steamed as Calis pulled away.

Calis held onto his left shoulder. The Sniper had put another shot into him. Silva\'s body shimmered as the wings folded around her. She would have to resort to another form in order to fight on the same playing field as the Merman.

"Forma daemonum: Demersus One…" Bubbles escaped Silva\'s mouth as the pistol and knife disappeared. Her entire body began to grow into pitch black. She would continue her job beside her Captain… Even if it meant altering her form to fit her needs…
