I Might Be A Fake Cultivator

Chapter 1201 - The Third Industrial Revolution

Chapter 1201: The Third Industrial Revolution

“Who’s rebelling?!”

An Lin immediately flared up upon hearing Tina’s words.

Tina heaved a faint sigh. “The Void Spirit Tribe.”

An Lin faltered upon hearing this. “The Void Spirit Tribe is the only tribe unwilling to carry out missions in the Tai Chu Continent, but haven’t we already sent Wei Ji to convince them otherwise?”

Tina shook her head. “Wei Ji was roasted to death by the Void Spirit Tribe.”

An Lin: “…”

Their number one missionary had been reduced to roast meat?

“Wait, didn’t you give him the power of resurrection so that he would never die?” An Lin recalled that Tina had given Wei Ji an infinite-life hack.

“I did, and Wei Ji resurrected at another location before trying to persuade the Void Spirit Tribe again. However, the Void Spirit Tribe was very aggressive and refused to listen to Wei Ji. Hence, he was deep fried in a pot of boiling oil…” Tina replied.

An Lin’s entire body shuddered upon hearing this!

“Wei Ji resurrected again and tried to promote his ideals. The third time, he was sliced up into countless pieces. The fourth time, he was skinned alive. The fifth time, he was tortured to death after having his soul sucked out by the Void Spirit Tribe… All the way up until the ninety-ninth time, he suffered extremely gruesome torture and committed suicide to put himself out of his misery.” Tina was getting a little angry as she delivered her recount.

An Lin was extremely shocked upon hearing this, but at the same time, a sense of admiration welled up in his heart. “What a strong and unyielding warrior Wei Ji is!”

Tina heaved a faint sigh. “But now, Wei Ji would be struck by an overwhelming sense of fear at the sight of Void Spirit Tribe living beings. I don’t think he’s going to be able to approach the Void Spirit Tribe again…”

An Lin: “…”

He was suffering from extreme post-traumatic stress disorder!

However, one really couldn’t blame Wei Ji for this. After all, anyone would succumb to such despair after suffering such inhumane torture a hundred times in succession.

The vast majority of people probably wouldn’t even last ten times.

Wei Ji was already a hero for persevering a hundred times!

Tina clenched her tiny fists in rage. “Wei Ji is a representative of my will. The Void Spirit Tribe’s abuse of Wei Ji indicates that they’re looking down on me, the great Goddess Tina! Is this not a rebellion? I can’t allow this to continue!”

An Lin turned toward the enraged Tina. “What do you want to do?”

“I can’t wait any longer. I have to teach the Void Spirit Tribe a lesson. Otherwise, they would think that there was no god in their world!” Tina placed her hands on her hips with an enraged expression.

An Lin felt like this was a reasonable course of action. “Just beat the crap out of them then! Why are you talking to me about this?”

Tina landed lightly on An Lin’s palm and gripped onto An Lin’s thumb with her tiny little hands as a beseeching expression appeared on her face. “A goddess should be a high and mighty being that is not easily enraged. It will make me seem like a petty goddess…”

An Lin figured out what she was getting at, and he flicked her forehead with a chuckle. “So you want me to play the villain and teach the Void Spirit Tribe a lesson in your stead?”

Tina spoke in a sweet voice, “You’re God’s Spokesperson, and you’re the closest member of my entourage. You’d be perfect for the job…”

“Alright, I agree to your request.” An Lin stood up. He was bored out of his mind anyway, so it was time he found something to do.

“Let’s go, Little Xie!” An Lin called.

Little Xie stood up reluctantly before leaping into the Evil-Slaying Sword.

An Lin sheathed the Evil-Slaying Sword and held onto Tina’s tiny hand, upon which light flashed and both of them disappeared on the spot.

In the next instant, they arrived at the Divine Mirror World.

“Phew, what a spectacular city,” An Lin exclaimed upon entering the Divine Mirror World.

The city before them was the main city of the human race—Xia Ya City.

Skyscrapers stretched into the distance with no end in sight, and all manners of different vehicles roamed along the orderly roads, alongside pedestrians walking on the sidewalks.

All of the pedestrians were wearing clothes that were not only very vibrant in color, but also quite light and elegant. Their clothes would dance in the wind to create all sorts of different shapes.

This was the newest fashion trend of dynamic clothing that had become popular among the humans of this world.

Their fashion sense was even more advanced than that of the humans on Earth!

Thermal-powered and electricity-powered forms of transportation had also become completely widespread, and there were also all types of flying transportation devices that had combined technology with cultivation.

All of the transportation devices on the ground and in the sky were traveling according to an orderly system, presenting a prosperous and flourishing spectacle.

An Lin was caught in a momentary daze upon seeing this.

This was the human civilization in the Divine Mirror World? If it weren’t for the fact that Tina was hovering right beside him to serve as a constant reminder, he would be led into believing that he had time-traveled to the future!

“Are you surprised? To be honest, I was worried that the human race would become engrossed in recreation and cease to advance. However, after a couple of waves of upheavals, they somehow managed to get back on the right track!

“They began their third industrial revolution, perfectly fusing technology with cultivation and taking the human race to even greater heights.

“They’re constantly inventing all sorts of things every single day, and I can’t even keep up anymore.”

Even though Tina was complaining, her eyes were shimmering with pride.

“They are progressing the fastest among the eleven highly-intelligent tribes! They have even created a type of medicine that can make it easier for people to be able to cultivate. As such, even some living beings that did not have the aptitude to cultivate from birth are subsequently able to embark on the path of cultivation!

“Only ten percent of humans were cultivators in the past, but that figure has now spiked to thirty percent! Even if they can’t cultivate, they can extend their lifespans through the use of medicines. The average lifespan of the human race has now reached two hundred and fifty years!”

An Lin was astonished. “Two hundred and fifty? What a lucky number.”

“Nowadays, cultivators, scientists, and celebrities are the three most sought-after occupations of the human race.” Tina was as familiar with the condition of the human race as she was with the back of her hand.

“I can understand cultivators and scientists, but what the hell are celebrities doing on that list?” An Lin was unable to understand how a celebrity could compare with those other two occupations.

Tina spoke with a wide grin, “I’ll take you to a good place tonight, and everything will make sense to you then.”

Just as they were speaking, two figures flew out from the ten-thousand-meter tall tower at the very center of the city.

“Goddess Tina, Spokesperson An Lin, welcome to Xia Ya City!”

Two humans appeared before them and bowed as they spoke.

An Lin and Tina hadn’t concealed their presence, so it wasn’t strange that they had been detected.

The two humans before them were none other than the first two humans of this world, Adam and Eve.

After all these years, they were still wearing the same green clothes that they had been wearing since birth.

The clothes could expand as their bodies grew, so they could never outgrow them. At the same time, these clothes had been bestowed upon them by Goddess Tina, so they regarded the clothes as priceless treasures. They would only take them off when they engaged in profound communication as a couple together. Otherwise, these clothes were constantly being worn on their bodies.

“There’s no need for such a grand welcome. We’re just having a casual stroll,” An Lin said with a smile. “Long time no see. I can sense that both of you are now at the Soul Formation Pinnacle Stage. How do you feel?”

Adam replied like a well-mannered scholar, “We have searched and pondered for a long time, but we have still yet to find the key to further progression.”

“Perhaps we’re using the wrong position when we engage in dual cultivation?” Eve was a lot more brusque and crude as she stroked her chin.

Tina blushed slightly.

An Lin drew a sharp intake of breath. “What? Dual cultivation? Wrong position? You… you two are trying to make a breakthrough via dual cultivation?”

“Is there a problem with that? Adam and I possess a yin domain and a yang domain respectively. Our yin and yang can circulate and give rise to one another, which will help us to progress in a synchronized fashion! We’re like a match made in heaven, so why wouldn’t we cultivate together in order to make a breakthrough?” Eve questioned with a justified expression.

An Lin didn’t really know what to say.

Right at this moment, an expression of anticipation appeared on Eve’s face. “Spokesperson An Lin, you’re so vastly knowledgeable. Would you happen to have some teachings that you can bestow upon Adam and me in the way of dual cultivation?”

An Lin drew a sharp intake of breath as he stared at the two people before him with astonishment on his face.

Some teachings in the way of dual cultivation?

Were they extending an offer for him to watch them engage in dual cultivation before providing some advice?

How could she be so straightforward?!
